I understand that as a part of assignment 10 we are required to complete the Major Quiz. I was just wondering if we were required to go to an approved location in order to take the quiz. I know that we have to go to a proctored station for tests, but I didn't know if it was the same for quizzes also.

The Major Quiz is counted as a test, so it must be proctored. I agree that this isn't as clear as it should be.
