course phy 121
Hello hope I have done this right. 8/31/09
1)My ramp is 30cm long with a height of my domnio lying flat is 1cm, so I devide rise over run to get my slope of .033xxxx
2)My ramp is 30cm long with the height of my domnio lying on its side being 2.5cm, devideng rise over run I get my slope of .0833
3)My ramp is 30cm long with the height of my domnio lying on its end being 5cm, devideng rise over run I get a slope of .166
4)My slope increases as my height changes for instance my domnio lying flat changeing to on its side increases my slope by.05 then putting the domnio on its end increases my slope another .08 with an over all change of .13
5)The landing of my marble changes as my slope changes for instance I have a .5cm increase of landing position from flat to on its side and another .25cm increase as it is switched to its end
6)My average rate of change from my marble landing from the first slope to the second slope with respect to my slope is an increase of .5cm
7)My average rate of change from my marble landing from the second slope to the third slope is .25cm I am learning in this case the more my slope goes up the less distance the marble travels in landing distance
In these last few questions I have made some errors in my notes so I can not get the answears I need Need to manage my notes better"
Your answers are nicely composed and your thinking on these problems is clear to the reader. Good job for that alone.
You didn't get the rates right (last couple of questions); see the annotated file I emailed earlier today. From what I see here I'm confident you'll understand, but if not let me know.
