Your 'ball down ramp' report has been received. Scroll down through the document to see any comments I might have inserted, and my final comment at the end.
** Your general comment **
** Will a steeper ramp give greater or lesser time? **
The steeper the slope the quicker the ball will roll. The time that the ball takes to roll down the steep slope will be the least.
** As slopes increases will time intervals increase, decrease or show no pattern? **
The time intervals would decrease with the greatest slopes.

I set up the ramp with the domino under the end. I started timing when the ball was released and stopped it when the ball reached the endpoint. This is the time that it took for the ball to travel the total distance.

This time I followed the same procedure except I used two dominoes stacked at the left end for the first trial and the right end for the second trial. I then timed the release of the ball to the end of the ramp and recorded that data.

** Do your results support or fail to support your hypothesis about increasing or decreasing times? **
Yes! My hypothesis supported my data. As the slope is increased the time interval is decreased. The steeper the ramp the quicker the ball will travel.
** How do you think ave velocity is related to slope? **
The velocity will increase when the slope is increased. the ball will travel faster if the slope is steeper. The ramp showed us these results.
** Speculate on why ave velocity changes with slope. **
When the slope is increased the energy on the ball also increases. When the ball is sitting at a higher point the potential energy increases.
** How could you test your speculations? **
I could graph the results. I could also measure the potential energy gained from being up higher and the kinetic energy gained after the ball is released.
