256.7969-253.2266=3.5703
3.5703/19=0.1879
subtract the last time from the very first and divide by 19

** Your general comment to this point **
** Why did you observe only certain time intervals? **
I noticed some of my times were the same to the 6th digit. Unless the program display on certain increments. Maybe 2 fixed readings per each 1/10 of a second.
** What did you see when you looked at the differences between time successive time intervals? **
the numbers increment at .015625 each and are rounded to .01863 when negative.
** Your time intervals for 7 complete breaths: **
2.929688
4.351563
5.007813
5.542969
5.734375
4.914063

5.148438
6.410156

** Your general comment to this point: **
** Why did you rarely, if ever, observe that same time interval twice? **
the breaths had wider time margins in between. So there was more room for variance.
** Do you think this program is accurate to .1 or .01 ... **
A) within 0.1 second, the increments were not less than 0.100000
** Copy of a few lines of your spreadsheet from the TIMER program. **
blank
event number,clock time,time interval
I lost my original Breath data but sound out how to save the timer data in Excel
