Initial Information Page
Two links are provided for
each course. One is the Initial Information page for that specific course, which constitutes the
orientation phase of the course. The second is the course of study, which
includes objectives.
The Initial Information page
must
be worked through in a tightly defined sequence of exercises, each of which asks
you to perform a series of tasks, answer a series of questions, and send the
document to the instructor.
- In the course of working
through that page you will be introduced, at the appropriate time, to
the course of study and to the homepage for the course.
- You will be introduced in the process of working through the Initial Information
document to the communication scheme and the core components of the course.
- Everything is to be experienced and documented, not simply viewed.
- At the end of the process
you will be provided with additional menu-driven navigational aids and the
opportunity to skip around, make choices, and view the entire scope of the
course.
Until that time, you should follow the steps as outlined,
without deviating and without skipping or omitting anything.
Students sometimes want to view the Course of
Study as soon as possible, so a link to the Course of Study is also provided.
However the initial activities will take you to that page early in the process.
