Experiment 1The number of cm_s in four cm_f. = 6.21
The number of cm_t in four cm_d.= 6.1
The number of cm_d in two cm_f.= 5.0
Experiment 2
To determine the time required for the ball to travel down the ramp we used the long pendulum to measure the time. At the lower slope the ball to 2 full cycles to reach the bottom. At the greater slope the ball took about half a cycle to reach the bottom. In conclusion the ball on the greater slope takes less time to go down the ramp.
@&
This is sufficient to answer the question. Good.
*@
Slight slope: 62 cm/sec
Greater slope: 31 cm/sec
@&
These results seem contradictory to your previous results.
*@
To compare the speeds of the ball we measured how far the ball traveled after it left the ramp. We concluded that the greater the slope the faster speed reached by the ball.
@&
I agree that your data support this. Your reported speeds do not.
