Prof SmithI hate to admit my irresponsibility, but I have forgotten my lab kit and now I am home on Spring break. This means I do not have the kit and cannot perform the cylindrical lens experiment. I will do this the Monday I return to school which is also the week I plan on taking the test. If this is a problem I can call my campus secruity and have one of them escort me into my dorm room. I would prefer not to do this but of course I can if you need me to. Thank you!
No big problem, but note that all you really need to do the experiment is a large soft drink bottle and a candle or some other concentrated source of light (something which is nearly a point source). You can just go ahead and enjoy your break and do the experiment next, but if time permits you also have the option do it sooner--whichever works better for you is fine with me.
