** Measuring Atmospheric Pressure_labelMessages **
When I squeeze the bottle, the water shoots up into the vertical tube, and when I let go it immediately goes back down. Also when I squeeze the bottle, the air column between the water in the pressure tube and the stopper on the end of the tube gets slightly shorter. It is not as much of a change as the vertical column (very small change), but it is still a change.

I have chosen the doubly reduced ruler, because it is more precise than the regular one, yet it is still easy to read so I feel like it will be my most precise option.

The length is about 24.
I obtained my results by placing the capped end on the 10 mark, and measuring to the start of the water, which landed exactly on the 34 mark. I subtracted the larger from the smaller to figure out my length.

The information I have is the starting point of the meniscus, and the ending point, so the difference is how far the air column was decreased. I obtained it by taping the measuring device to the column and watching what happened.

This information is the same as the last, except this time I went up to the second mark. I found the data the same way as the last trial though.

This information is the same as the others, except this time I went up to the fourth mark. the data was found by measuring the meniscus and how much it moved.

This information is the same as the others, except this time I went to the third mark. The data was found by observing the distance the meniscus traveled.
