University Physics Students Note: If you are use the 12th edition, click here for revised text problem assignments for Assignments 1-20.

So i am using the 12th edition. But the assignments don't line up at all with the due dates, for example this week is due 9 10 and 11 but those querys that i have been doing dont match up at all to the querys that i would do if i did the 12th edition. I don't understand which ones to do nor do I even know if i have been studying the right stuff for the first test.

Which assignments should i be doing if i have the 12th edition of university physics, and what stuff will be on the first test related to the 12th edition. Also when is the first test due?

The test covers Assignments 1 - 11.

The text chapters corresponding to these assignments are 14, 17, 18, 19, 20.

A number of of the test problems are posed in terms of the bottle-and-tube setup of the experiments.

I've checked the queries for Assts 9, 10 and 11 and the only discrepancy I see is that problem 50 in Chapter 15 is on the Query but wasn't included in the assigned problems for that chapter.

The Class Notes, Introductory Problem Sets, lab assignments and the text do not follow in lockstep order. Generally text topics are covered earlier in other assignments, so that the student is familiar with the context before reading the text. This strategy is dictated by the fact that for most students, reading the text and solving the problems is the most challenging part of the course.
