I have a question regarding the testing procedure. Do you allow students to use formula sheets while testing or do you prefer students to recall the proper formulas from knowledge? The testing instructions seem not to formula sheets.

Formula sheets are not permitted on tests.
Reasoning from basic principles is emphasized over formulas. If the principles are understood and used in solving the assigned problems, the number of formulas is relatively small.
Most tests do include a table of values of the relevant constants.
