In general how can you use a graph of work vs. separation to this system to find the force exerted by the magnets at a given separation?The force should be slope of the graph at the given separation. I know this is true but don't know if my answers above actually reflect that.

When I read that last question it did make the bulb light up but I didn't have the time to go back over everything. One thing that hurt me is that I wasn't looking at my graph the way I should have been. Now though I can see it just like the velocity graphs we have been looking at. So I definitely realize that the average work was not something that applied the way I tried to make it.
