I'm working the mini grav lab about changing orbits. What is it that's being asked exactly? Specific impulse directions? Is there anything in the bigger grav lab that might help explain this?

I haven't seen your other gravitational simulation labs, but having done them you should see how any impulse will change a circular to an elliptical orbit. Your follow-up analysis on those labs will give you additional information, and if necessary you can delay this one until you've done that.

You might want to consider the changes in PE and KE within an elliptical orbit, and compare them to the energy change between circular orbits at the perigee and apogee distance.
