** Your average time interval for 20 time intervals **

I added the 20 intervals and divided the sum by 20.

It looks like the .36-second result indicates a 'skipped' click; no problem here but to get data consistent with instructions would have taken another run or two, until you get a run with no skips.

** Your general comment to this point **

** Why did you observe only certain time intervals? **

It means that the program is only accurate to so many significant figures until the numbers start to repeat.

** What did you see when you looked at the differences between time successive time intervals? **

The program can accurately time between the intervals of -0.03125 to 0.03125

** Your time intervals for 7 complete breaths: **

** Your general comment to this point: **

** Why did you rarely, if ever, observe that same time interval twice? **

When the intervals between the times increase, they tend to be more accurate.

** Do you think this program is accurate to .1 or .01 ... **

a

Because after .1 seconds, the numbers start to repeat, as they did in the 20 intervals.
