Moving ManThis software program allows me to adjust the man’s position, his velocity and acceleration. I can adjust these numbers in many ways (positive, negative, fast, slow) and it will plot the 3 graphs of the man’s corresponding position, velocity and acceleration. It is neat to compare the 3 graphs according to the timestamp. The results of my tinkering with the program are exactly as I would expect. When the position is increasing at a constant rate, the velocity graph is also increasing linearly, and the acceleration graph is a horizontal line because it is not increasing nor decreasing. When the position is decreasing at a constant rate, and the velocity and acceleration are negative, the velocity graph is a negative linear line and the acceleration is a horizontal line at the negative acceleration that I set it to. It is very interesting to play with this program and see how I can adjust these 3 graphs.
