There was a problem in one of the practice quizzes that I did not understand very well, and I was not sure if my answer was correct. The problem said to sketch a graph representing the linear function family y = m x + b for m = 1.05, with b varying over all negative real numbers.

At first I understood the fact that a linear function is represented by a straight line, and m represents the slope of the graph which in this case is 1.05. Also, I think that b had to be negative because the problem said ... b varying over all negative real numbers. So I thought that the values for b had to be represented in the y axis. I tried to sketch a graph representing those values but I donīt think I did all the steps to have an accurate sketch of the graph. What I donīt understand is how do I represent the b varying over all negative numbers, can I just say b is -1 and graph the point and the slope. I am not sure how to solve this problem.

Also, I have already done my Major Quiz on Thursday, the 16th of June. The Proctor scanned the quiz and sent it to your email address attached to the email. Last Friday and Monday were a national holiday in Portugal so the Testing Center was closed. I am going to do Test 1 as soon as possible.
@& I did receive and print your test today.

@& A first look shows that you did well on the tests; I'll finish the grading this weekend and post the actual score.
