On the assignments page below where it has to read the chapter. It has listed to do several problems but it never says whether to submit these problems. Do I need to submit these problems using a work form in addition to doing the qa's?

Do I type up and submit the problems we are to do in the book??

No. Just submit the Query, which will ask you detailed questions about selected problems.
Of course if you have questions about one or more problems that don't appear in the Query, then be sure to ask, using the Question Form.
