cannot find the welcome mes.

I've been getting good work on the Orientation and Startup from the majority of students in physics courses, but so far I've only received lab materials information from about half the enrolled students.
If you haven't submitted the forms related to lab materials, you need to do so.
It would be easier for me to send the link to those forms than to write this sentence, but as a policy it's best not to communicate partial information. If you've missed that information, chances are you've missed other important information contained in the Initial Information document.
See the Initial Information document, to which the Welcome announcement on the Blackboard page for your course refers you, and be sure you are aware of all the information at the links on that page, including the Lab Materials form.
If you have thoroughly reviewed all the information at all the links in the Initial Information document, and have not found the forms related to the lab, use the Submit Question form at http://vhcc2.vhcc.edu/dsmith/forms/question_form.htm to let me know and I'll be glad to help.

I have checked the blackboard site and I cannot find any welcome announcement to look at the links you said should be posted and to order my lab materials.

It appears you got the email for my distance students.
Ignore that email. You only need to worry about the assignments I emailed you, and the one you will get through email this afternoon.
