Your Response to my previous question regarding sandpiles:
@& Y2/51.2g = (13cm/4cm)^3 = 1757.6g
is simply an erroneous statement.
(13cm/4cm)^3 is not equal to 1757.6 g
However you are otherwise setting the problem up correctly, and you have the correct answer.
Y2/51.2g = (13cm/4cm)^3
is true.
It follows that
Y2= (13cm/4cm)^3 * 51.2 g = 1757.6g
It's important to write things down correctly, which helps to eliminate confusion.
In any case, good work, but be careful how you write it down.*@

Thanks for clearing that up! I keep a notebook full of practice tests and assignments- it's so much more convenient for me to do them on paper than a computer- so as you already know, I tend to leave things out when I type :-/ I will pay closer attention to this in the future.
For a heads up: I will be using Spring Break to type my small book of assignments up, I will attempt to be more precise and timely with them on Tests #3 and #4.
Finally- I recognized in the Orientation part of the course that you remembered me from the past summer; I know you work with large numbers of students and I didn't imagine you'd remember an online student from the past, so thank you.
@& I'm more forgetful than I used to be, but I do tend to remember successful students once I've met them face-to-face.*@
My grade expectations: I plan to graduate in May and am taking this course to fulfill the math requirements- therefore; I must pass with at least a C! I will stay in touch with you as much as possible to be certain that I am attaining this goal.
Thanks!
@& Keep up the good work.
When you submit qa's and queries, any problem on which you obtained all the information in the given solution may be simply indicated by 'ok'. You don't need to type the whole thing up. But if you didn't completely match the given solution, you should document your work and do a self-critique.*@
