A ball accelerates uniformly as it rolls 20 cm down a ramp, starting from rest, in 2 seconds.
• What are its average velocity, final velocity and acceleration?
answer/question/discussion: ->->->->->->->->->->->-> :
vAve=10cm/s vf=20cm/s acceleration=5cm/s^2
acceleration is `dv/`dt, not vAve / `dt
#$&*
• If the time interval is in error so that it is 3% longer than the actual time interval, then what are the actual values of the final velocity and acceleration?
answer/question/discussion: ->->->->->->->->->->->-> :
vf=19.4cm/s acceleration=4.7cm/s^2
vf found by doubling vAve and acceleration found by dividin vAve by time interval
#$&*
• What is the percent error in each?
answer/question/discussion: ->->->->->->->->->->->-> :
3 percent for vF and 6 percent for acceleration
Due to the acceleration using the time interval twice it double the error
#$&*
• If the percent error is the same for both velocity and acceleration, explain why this must be so.
answer/question/discussion: ->->->->->->->->->->->-> :
not the same
#$&*
• If the percent errors are different explain why it must be so.
answer/question/discussion: ->->->->->->->->->->->-> :
Due to the acceleration using the time interval twice it double the error

Good, but be sure you're using the correct definition of acceleration. Your percent error was good, but your accelerations were not calculated correctly.
