A bee is making a beeline for its hive. Its velocity is measured at a distance of 75 meters from the observer and again at distance 145 meters from the observer. The clock times at these two positions are t = 9 sec and t = 16 sec, and the measured velocities are 3 m/sec and 13.5 m/sec. What is its average velocity during this time? What is its average acceleration during this time? Is it possible that the acceleration is uniform? vAve= 145-75/16-9= 70/7= 10 m/s

aAve=13.5-3/7 = 10.5/7=1.5m/s^2

I wouldn't think the acceleration is uniform. because the bee is not a uniform moving object like a train."

Probably not, but the question is whether it's possible.

The average velocity is 10 m/s. Average of initial and final velocities is 8.25 m/s. If acceleration was uniform the two would be the same. They aren't so it's not.
