TIMER program ___ what is the
The minimum distance that can occur between two intervals is 7.8125 x 10^-3. To find the intervals starting with .12 use the formula .12 + (7.8125 * 10^-3)x. Continue this calculation until the number exceeds .19. Note that the interval is not counted that exceeds that limit.

Pearl Pendulum Amplitude
If the pendelum is positioned on a level surface the intervals will be equal. The amplitude changes with each swing, and therefore is independent of the period again since the intervals are equal. If the length of the string was changed the intervals would change accordingly.
The following data set was recorded as the intervals between subsequent swings:.416,.556,.536. Although the intervals are different there is not a uniform decreasing or increasing trend as the amplitude decreases. The difference only emerges from experimental error, such as a non-level table. These data points support the hypothesis that the period is independent of the amplitude.

Ball Down Ramp ___ is motion s
If the system was set up with a ramp that had a uniform thickness, there should be symmetry. My ramp had a thicker end and therefore the timing down the ramp varied when the ball was placed on the larger end to roll to the smaller end. For example when the large end was the starting point of the ball the trials yielded intervals of 1.070, .793, .863, .801, and 1.301. With the small end as start, it took the ball a greater amount of time to roll down the ramp: 1.395, 1.211, .770, .992, .987. These were determined greater by taking the average of both sets of values.
