Your average time interval for 20 time intervals

3.239844

To get this answer I took the last clock time and divided it by 20.

Your frequency distribution for the 20 time intervals (interval, number of times it was observed)

61.4375, 1

.171875, 5

.15625, 10

Your general comment to this point

Why did you observe only certain time intervals?

No, the timer rounds the intervals to 5 each time so it might be a little less accurate than if it just left it at .1830 or .1769.

What did you see when you looked at the differences between time successive time intervals?

The fact that the numbers are very small tells me that the timer program is very accurate.

Your time intervals for 7 complete breaths:

18.85938

4.28125

4.15625

6.203125

3.953125

4.25

4.1875

3.78125

4.421875

3.171875

Your general comment to this point:

Why did you rarely, if ever, observe that same time interval twice?

When you click the mouse faster, there is a higher chance of getting the same interval because it is harder to get smaller numbers.

Do you think this program is accurate to .1 or .01 ...

c. because the program calculates the time in small intervals.

Copy of a few lines of your spreadsheet from the TIMER program.
