Your 'ball down ramp' report has been received. Scroll down through the document to see any comments I might have inserted, and my final comment at the end.

** Your general comment **

** Will a steeper ramp give greater or lesser time? **

The time required to roll down the steepest ramp should be the least of the three times.

** As slopes increases will time intervals increase, decrease or show no pattern? **

They should be increasing.

These are the times that is took the marble to roll down a 12 inch incline. The second set of five numbers was from the other side of the board. Variations in time can be a result of an unlevel surface both on the board and below the board.

Increasing times are a result of an increasing slope.

** Do your results support or fail to support your hypothesis about increasing or decreasing times? **

Supported the ball's times increases with slope.

** How do you think ave velocity is related to slope? **

As the slope increased the velocity of the ball increased

** Speculate on why ave velocity changes with slope. **

Gravity

** How could you test your speculations? **

More trials with greater number and larger slopes.

Your data appear to be reasonable.
