Mr. Smith, I am still learning my way around the online class. I'm pretty sure I've found where the assignments are located here: http://vhcc2.vhcc.edu/cal2summer99/ . My question is about due dates. I do not see any due dates on that page, does this mean I can work at my own pace to keep up, or are the due dates located somewhere else?

For your own sake I'm not going to answer that question, but rather I'll direct you to Steps 4-8 of the Orientation, which I believe you have yet to complete. The Orienation gives you a systematic introduction to the webpage and other aspects of the course, which is much better than an answer to just one of the many questions that will arise.
