I see a combination of numbers ranging from 62.07813 to 70.375. The second colum appears to be the seconds are amount of time between each click or set of numbers.

** Your average time interval for 20 time intervals **

.1796875 Instead of averaging them all together, I evaluated the entire set of numbers and picked out the number that showed up several times more than any other number and I chose that one as the overall average.

** Your general comment to this point **

I see that we are determining how the timer works and its accuracy. It is very interesting how many times the same numbers show up in a segment.

** Why did you observe only certain time intervals? **

I think that that the TIMER program reported that time so frequently because the time between time periods was so frequent and close that it was the constant overall number that showed up or the average. I had a number that showed up 6 times. Correct me if I am missing something here. This is something new to me.

I'm not sure why those certain times didn't show up. When working with the timer there is a chance that certain numbers aren't going to show up. The numbers are determined by the frequency of the timer clicks.

This does not mean the timer program is flawed and it seems to be very useful. I know it will be helpful throughout the course.

** What did you see when you looked at the differences between time successive time intervals? **

Like the time interval column there are several numbers that are repetitive and the difference doesn't stay constant it changes up and down as it goes down the list. This just shows me that the timer program is very accurate and precise.

** Your general comment to this point: **

Why are your numbers much higher than my numbers? Just curious.

** Why did you rarely, if ever, observe that same time interval twice? **

I think this occured because the time between clicks was a lot longer and therefore we wouldn't have the same numbers show up. I would expect the numbers to be changing on a different scale than before.

** Do you think this program is accurate to .1 or .01 ... **

I think that a. is the most accurate because I had several numbers that were the same and some of them were in direct sequence. That is my thoughts if this is incorrect please explain the correct answer.
