My set came with a cap that the tubes aren't easily removed from. The cap is fine, but instructions for how to set this up without removing the tubes could be helpful. It took me a while to figure it out.
** How does the system behave and how does it 'feel'? **
When i squeeze the bottle, the water in the vertical column rises quickly while the water in the pressure indicating tube moves towards the end slowly slightly shortening the air column. When released, the system returns to normal.
** Length of the air column in units of your measuring device: **
I chose the doubly reduced ruler because it is easier to read then the triply reduced but still offers increased precision.
** Your report of the vertical position of the first mark relative to the water surface of the first mark, the length of the air column in units of your selected measuring device, and the two meniscus positions observed with each of your five trials. **
59cm
marking at one end was 0 and the marking at the other was 42 plus 0-17. The ruler was too small and my air column is a bit longer then was what recommended. I simply added the differences to determine length. 42-0=42 + 17-0=17. 42+17=59cm.

10 represents the height that the water needed to rise in cm. The following information represents the difference in the length of the air column. When i squeezed the bottle to raise the water to the 10cm mark, the ari column shortened and the water level moved from its initial position (ex:23.2) to its new position further down the column (ex:22.4) I found this using the doubly reduced ruler.
