value(t+3) = $1000 ( 1.07) ^ ( t + 3). This can be simplified as shown in some of the questions from 9/12/05.
value(t) =$1000(1.07)^t
So value(t+3) / value(t) = =$1000(1.07)^(t+3) / ( $1000(1.07)^t ).
Simplify the numerator as shown in the 9/12 questions and then simplify the fraction.
