** Your General Comment **
** Describe what you see on your first 10 clicks **
The timer produces 2 times. The first is how long the timer program has been open. The second is the time diff between when I clicked the time event button.

** Your average time interval for 20 time intervals **
.176555
I added up the 20 numbers and divided by 20.
** Your frequency distribution for the 20 time intervals (interval, number of times it was observed) **
.15625, 4
.17185, 8
.1875, 6
.203125, 2
** Your general comment to this point **
** Why did you observe only certain time intervals? **
The timer averaged to the closest times that had been reported. All of the times were in intervals and not exact times.
** What did you see when you looked at the differences between time successive time intervals? **
The last column shows the difference between the time right before the interval. All of the differences are factors of .01563 and therefore the timer does in fact round.
** Your time intervals for 7 complete breaths: **
5.5313
3.4844
3.1093
3.5625
3.1211
3.625
2.9883
2.8711
3.5664
** Your general comment to this point: **
** Why did you rarely, if ever, observe that same time interval twice? **
No, I did observe the same interval twice. The breathing was not as regimented as the clicking was. The breaths were further apart than the clicking was.
** Do you think this program is accurate to .1 or .01 ... **
B. The clicking was very close together. However the times were accurate to about .01 second and then the rounding occurred.
** Copy of a few lines of your spreadsheet from the TIMER program. **
