When I squeeze the container the column of water in the pressure tube decreases and the water in the vertical tube starts to rise. You don’t need a lot of squeeze to make this experiment go.

I will used the 1:.275 scale reduction because it will have the most precision of all the reductions

We measured in the scaled 1:.275 reduction 30cm increments which we got 3 of them. That adds up to be 90cm in the scaled reduction of 1:.275.

On the first line is the vertical position of the first mark on the vertical tube, relative to the water surface. On the second line is the length of the air column measured in the reduced scale. On the third through the seventh line are the meniscus before first squeeze and the position when the water was in the first mark in the tube. I obtained these answers by observing and measuring them in the experiment.

On the first line is the vertical position of the fourth mark on the vertical tube, relative to the water surface. On the second line is the length of the air column measured in the reduced scale. On the third through the seventh line are the meniscus before first squeeze and the position when the water was in the fourth mark in the tube. I obtained these answers by observing and measuring them in the experiment.
