assignment 3

course phys 201

What are the average acceleration and final velocity of an object which accelerates uniformly from rest, attaining a velocity of 40 cm/sec in 13.6 seconds? How far does the object travel during the 13.6 seconds?Average acceleration= v2-v1/t2-t1

= 40cm/s-0/ 13.6cm/s-0= 2.941cm/s

Final velocity= Vf=Vo+a(t) = 2.941*13.6= 40cm/s

Good work.
