Force Vectors Lab

** **

I feel like I am comparing apples and oranges. When I did the original lab, I used one of the reduced rulers. I have it because I kept it with my rubber bands. Do I just use that ruler again and not worry about the grids (which are off by about .5 mm)?

You can measure the grids using the original ruler.

Then you can convert grid measurements to the units of the ruler.

However I'm not sure that's necessary. You marked the lengths of the rubber bands, so it seems you could easily measure them with that ruler and use your original calibration data to determine the forces.

The grids are then used to represent your force vectors, according to a specified scale.
