Your average time interval for 20 time intervals
22.06094 I added all 20 numbers up and divided them by 20
The average clock time is about 22 seconds, but this is not the average time interval. The time intervals are generally about .2 seconds or less.
Note that a copy of the timer data will have one timing event per line, and won't have any slashes. A copy of the information on the TIMER screen always comes out in the following format:
1 149.3906 149.3906
2 149.5625 .171875
3 149.7188 .15625
4 149.8906 .171875
5 150.0313 .140625
6 150.1875 .15625
etc.
Generally data needs to be presented in columns, because columns are easier to scan.
In labs you will be given specific instructions on how data is to be entered, and I don't think you'll have any trouble with the format.
Your frequency distribution for the 20 time intervals (interval, number of times it was observed)

Your general comment to this point
Why did you observe only certain time intervals?
No not neccessarily
What did you see when you looked at the differences between time successive time intervals?
They go from 2 negatives, 1positive, 1 neg., 2 pos., 2 neg., and 1pos.
Your time intervals for 7 complete breaths:
2.38125 1.515625 .71875 .625 .640625
Your general comment to this point:
I still don't really understand exactly what I am doing.
Why did you rarely, if ever, observe that same time interval twice?
Because each time it changes
Do you think this program is accurate to .1 or .01 ...
A. Because it seems to be pretty quick
Copy of a few lines of your spreadsheet from the TIMER program.

Please send me a revised average for the time intervals (see above note; let me know if you have questions).
