** How does the system behave and how does it 'feel'? **
When the bottle is squeezed the liquid in the pressure indicating tube moves away from the bottle and towards the left. When the bottle is relaxed and not being squeezed the water goes back down to its resting state and closer towards the bottle.
** Length of the air column in units of your measuring device: **
Doubly reduced for better precision.
** Your report of the vertical position of the first mark relative to the water surface of the first mark, the length of the air column in units of your selected measuring device, and the two meniscus positions observed with each of your five trials. **
23.6
I used the doubly reduced ruler to measure the end cap of the air column to the miniscus of the water column. The end cap was at 1. Initial position of the miniscus is 23.6. The length of the air column is 23.6-1 = 22.6.
** Your report of the vertical position of the second mark relative to the water surface of the first mark, the length of the air column in units of your selected measuring device, and the two meniscus positions observed with each of your five trials. **

The air column length was the measurement of the meniscus minus 1 because that is where the measurement device started. Each length was measured to the meniscus.
