For 4/9/12 Today in class, we observed a system that had a rotating giz-mo that generated something around 20,000 volts. this was hooked up to

two 20cm diameter metal disk that were standing vertical separated by a few centimeters. Inside this, we attached a scrunched up ball

of alluminum around a small thread, to allow it to ""bounce"" back and forth hitting either side of the disks. We graphed the number of hits

vs time; charge vs time; and a few others, ( I came in late ). Each graph was decreasing exponentially quickly at first, then asymptotic.
