A steel ball rolls down a ramp and collides with a marble, as in the video. The marble is slightly smaller and quite a bit less massive than
the ball.
If they both experience forces of the same magnitude (in this case, equal and opposite forces), which will have an acceleration of the
greater magnitude?
answer/question/discussion: ->->->->->->->->->->->-> scussion:
The acceleration of the marble will have greater magnitude, because the same force divided by a much smaller mass equals a greater acceleration.

If the forces were exerted during identical time intervals, which would have the greater change in speed?
answer/question/discussion: ->->->->->->->->->->->-> scussion:

An identical force exerted through the same time interval will result in the same impulse, or same change in momentum. Since momentum is mass
times velocity, the smaller mass must experience a greater change in velocity in order to have the same change in momentum.
