Step 5. Part III of the Orientation instructs you on how to access the material on your disks. If you don't yet have your disks you can skip this part for now, but be sure to come back to this step once you get your disks.
Orientation Part III tells you how to run and check out your DVDs.
The first two steps require only Internet access.
The third step requires the use of your DVDs. If you do not yet have the DVDs then you may put off Part IIIb until you have them, and you may continue without loss of continuity to the remaining Orientation exercises.
checking out the DVDs for your course.
??????? Do we submit this form using the DVDs you sent us in the initial lab packet or do we wait until we get the DVDs with the full lab packet and then do this part? ????????

I don't understand if I do Step 5 of orientation now, or if I wait until I have the CDs that come with the full lab packet.

@& The DVDs for the course are sent with the initial lab packet, so go ahead and check them out.*@

I am trying to view contents on the two DVDs that were sent to me through the initial lab pack. They are labeled Phy I, Part I and Phy I Part B. On the first DVD, I was able to open the DVD and get to the page that had all the CDs on the DVD listed as well as gen1, etc. I was able to open up disk0 but none of the videos would work. I could open up gen1 and the first two videos under precalculus worked but none after that. I could not get any of the other sections to open up on the disk. I am having trouble getting anything on the second disk to open once I am at the page where all the disks on that Cd are listed.I do not know whether my problems are due to the DVDs or my computer. I am hoping you have insight on what to do. I will probably go to the library and try out the disks in a computer there as well.

@& You should try the DVD's in another computer. If you are able to read anything on the DVD's, it almost certainly means that they copied correctly.
Are you running the disks from the HTML file in the root folder?*@
