You have completed the first series of collaborative labs.
In that series you developed some important skills with teamwork, collaboration and communication. By now you have also developed additional lab techniques and insights, as well as an expanded understanding of physics and the standard formulations of motion, energy, momentum, forces and other topics.
You now have a good idea of the function of each member of the team, the designer, the experimenter, the analyzer and the interpreter.
You are also familiar with the items in your lab materials package.
The second series of activities will be spread out over the remainder of the semester. The investigations in this series will be more substantial and extensive than those of the first series, though we will limit the scope to keep the workload reasonable.
Please give a brief statement of three proposals for the second series of investigations, relevant to the topics of the labs you have performed and/or the material covered so far in the course. It should be possible to conduct your proposed investigations using the materials in the lab package, and/or common items you can expect your team members to have.

Testing how the amount of force of different rubber bands by seeing how far they move an object.
This could be tested similarly to the experiment where the rubber band was hooked around a paper clip and then anchored. On the end of the string attached to the paper clip could be a block of dominoes. Different rubber bands could stretched the same amount to see which moves the dominoes the furthest and which exerts the greatest force from the same amount of stretch.

Testing to see how consistently a ball rolls down a ramp from left to right compared to right to left and test with the ramp on different surfaces
During my experiments the ball was always slower one way than the other. For this experiment I would time the ball down the ramp from right to left and left to right on different surfaces to see which surface provided the most accurate result.

Testing similar to the ball and ramp projectile but from various heights
The ball would be rolled from rest off of a ramp from a set height of dominoes. After it was tested and recorded the entire ramp would be elevated or lowered to see the effects of how high the projectile is dropped from on the horizontal distance traveled.
