Hello Professor Smith, it's getting very close to the end of the course and I haven't done many of the labs but I've been doing well on the tests. How much will the labs affect my overall grade? Do I need to try to perform them all before the 5th? Is it possible to know where I stand in the class?
Thank you.
@& You can check your test grades using Blackboard. You have a good average on the tests. You can also expect a good average on your homework/participation grade.
You will need to do more labs. You need to have a passing average on the labs in order to pass the course. Check the syllabus for detail on grading and this should give you a good idea what you need to do.
The quality of your labs has been good. If you submit good-quality work on the labs through Assignment 20 you will have a passing average on the labs. The lab average will of course be included in determining your final grade, per the formula given in the syllabus.
I can accept work through noon on August 8. Let me know if you didn't get my email to that effect, which was probably sent after you submitted this question.*@
