Mr. Smith,
I have picked up a copy of Calculus: Single and Multivariable by Hughes-Hallet, etc., 5th edition. It appears to be inline with the Single-variable-only title, but I wanted to ask your opinion of it in case you knew of any discrepancies between the single-variable and combined versions or this 5th edition.
I plan to take the Major Quiz this weekend, and then Test 1 two weeks thereafter (I wanted to do it Thanksgiving weekend, but I think the college will be closed), then hopefully complete the 3rd test the weekend before finals. Whether or not any of that is feasible, I suppose is yet to be seen. Wish me luck. And godspeed, too, come to think of it.
Thank you,
@&
I don't believe there are any discrepancies between the books.
The way to prepare is to do a lot of problems. You've got the ability, and hopefully you'll have the time to get it all done.
