What are the average acceleration and final velocity of an object which accelerates uniformly from rest, traveling a distance of 69 cm from start to finish and ending up with a velocity of 18.1 cm/sec?

If the object started at 0cm/sec and the final velocity was 18.1

cm/sec the average velocity would be (0cm/s + 18.1cm/sec)/2 =

9.05cm/sec 69cm/ (9.05cm/sec) gives 7.62 seconds. The average

acceleration would be 9.05cm/sec / (7.62seconds) giving

1.19cm/sec/sec"

@& Good reasoning up to the last step.

The change in velocity is not equal to the average velocity.
