From reading your comments on the work I have sent in, I see that I have made some significant progress since the beginning. I am glad to see this, considering the fact that my career path relies a lot on calculus and high mathematics. I wonder, what is my standing in the course? I have some revisions to complete but after that I don't know what else to do. Also, when is my absolute due date? I have been given several but I have already passed through them.

You did quite well on the quiz problems, and you're probably ready to take a Major Quiz for a grade rather than for practice.

You should also be up to Test 1 by now. I recommend you work the assigned text problems, if you haven't already done so.

&&&& I see. Well, unlike before I do not have the capability to travel over to the campus testing center to take the test so I will have to take it at the testing center at Mountain Empire. I will make sure to follow the procedures correctly so that this can go through smoothly. They have a testing center set up there so it shouldn't be a problem.

Also, are the Major Quizzes and Tests the only assignments that are graded?

You also get a grade for homework and participation, which is graded mostly on effort. You've submitted everything so far, so you're in good shape with that part.

The bulk of your grade, however, is determined by the Major Quiz and the tests, as outlined on your Course of Study / Syllabus.

Do be sure to submit the Proctor Information Form so I can contact MECC accordingly.

&&&& Good. I see everything depends on what I make on the Tests. Very well then, I shall take them soon and smoke them. I will make sure that all the paperwork is filled out and taken care of.

Also, I need to know if I am on schedule or I have fallen behind. And on another note, if I do well on the tests will I be able to make an A in this class?

I've seen nothing that would indicate you aren't capable of acing the course, but I haven't seen enough to say any more than that.

You haven't yet taken any tests after completing the assigned work, so while I expect you'll do well it's hard to predict just how well you'll do.

The test problems are often more challenging than the problems you've turned in. We'll get a better idea after you've done a couple of tests.

The best way to prepare for the tests is to do the assigned homework problems from the text.
