For small slopes does the corresponding acceleration seem to change by an amount that is proportional to the change in slope? Yes, when the slope is small the acceleration is small and when the slope increases the acceleration also incr Do we expect the small-slope behavior of acceleration vs. slope to continue when the slope becomes large? When the slope increases I would predict that the acceleration would also increase because gravity has more of a pull and wants the car to go back to the ground as fast as possible. So the larger the slope the faster the acceleration. How are initial and final velocities, acceleration, time duration and displacement related in the situations we encounter in this experiment? The initial and final velocities are used to find the change in velocity which is then used to find acceleration when it is divide by the change in time. You can also find the average velocity by adding the initial and final velocity and dividing it by 2 and then you can find the displacement if you multiple the average velocity by the change in time.
