on the left side it shows how many times it has been clicked, on the right side im guessing its the time between each click

** Your average time interval for 20 time intervals **

.1693564

ok i have no idea what the quicker way is i just averaged all 20 numbers

&#If you divide the difference between the 1st and 20th time clock times by the 20 - 1 = 19 time intervals you would get the average time interval, and this will agree with the average you obtained by adding the 19 intervals and dividing by 19.

More generally, if you take the difference between two clock times and the difference between their numberings, i.e., subtract the second-column numbers, subtract the first-column numbers and divide, you will get the average of the time intervals between those clock times. &#

** Your general comment to this point **

** Why did you observe only certain time intervals? **

the program reported the timer so frequently because it can only report it so fast and it rounds it off to the same numbers quite often....it does not mean the timer is flawed it is only accurate up to a certain point and would be more accurate if clicked slower

** What did you see when you looked at the differences between time successive time intervals? **

the timer often repeats itself when pushed as far as it can go...after a certain point it can only record so fast that is why there is alot of repetition

** Your time intervals for 7 complete breaths: **

5.296875

5.407227

7.217773

7.688477

8.125

8.186523

8.235352

8.421875

9.217773

** Your general comment to this point: **

** Why did you rarely, if ever, observe that same time interval twice? **

i did not have any repeating numbers in this exercising, and i expected this because this was a slower exercise therefore allowed the time to be more accurate

** Do you think this program is accurate to .1 or .01 ... **

i believe b. is the most accurate because on both exercises the hundreth of the number made the biggest difference in most of the answers
