graphs for seed 4 document

** **

The seed 4 document is the one that follows:

The problem:

A ball is moving at 10 cm/s when clock time is 4 seconds, and at 40 cm/s when clock time is 9 seconds.

Sketch a v vs. t graph and represent these two events by the points (4 sec, 10 cm/s) and (9 s, 40 cm/s).

answer/question/discussion: ->->->->->->->->->->->-> (start in the next line):

Slope= 40-10 / 9-4=30/5 = 6

#$&*

Sketch a straight line segment between these points.

answer/question/discussion: ->->->->->->->->->->->-> (start in the next line):

What are the rise, run and slope of this segment?

answer/question/discussion: ->->->->->->->->->->->-> (start in the next line):

rise= 40-10=30

run=9-4=5

slope=30/5=6

#$&*

What is the area of the graph beneath this segment?

I am trying to find a way to include the photoes of the graphs I scetched because when I copied the work, it did not show up in the text box.

How can I include the photos for this assignment.

You shouldn't have been asked to answer the question when asked to sketch the graph and the straight line segment (my fault for making those instructions look like questions). So pictures of the graphs aren't necessary, which is a good thing since the text form won't transmit pictures.

You do need to answer the two questions.

You've got a good answer regarding the slope, except that you didn't include units in that calculation. The units are necessary.

You will also need to answer the question about the area.
