For the assignments, specifically for the first week, assignments 00 and 01, I haven't used the DVDs. Where, other than Class Notes, does is specify which DVD files to use? Also, under Streamline, I see ball on incline, rotating strap and rubber bands. Are these videos? Where are the files?

Should I have accessed the DVDs at this point? Where are the lectures? How do I know which DVD files to read or watch?

@&

The first time you will access the DVD is in Assignment 2, where you are advised to view Class Notes #01.

Your primary use of the DVD's will be to access Class Notes.

The DVD's will also be used with some experiments.

There seems to be a lot of homework as I have submitted over 20 items in the first week. If I can't get to all of the assignments, which things do you recommend I do that would have the most instructional benefit and wouldn't affect my grade too much? Should I skim over the seed and queries (just make sure I know them) and do the labs, text problems, and most of the Other category?

@&

Labs and Queries, the latter of which ask questions about the text problems and other things, should be done after working the text problems, will be your main focus.

If you can do the text problems and Queries without having done the QA's, that's OK. However most students need to do the Qa's to understand the material.

As I've said in a previous note, this course requires about 180 hours, more or less depending on individual differences, which would translate to about 18 hours per week.

Keep in touch with me on your time requirements. If you do I'll continue to advise you.
