I read on the website that it is sometimes acceptable to have a member of the military proctor your tests. My neighbor is a Naval Officer. Could I have him proctor my test instead of traveling to a Community
College? I wanted to ask before I submitted my proctor information form.

On Assignment 0 Transition to Physics I can't download the timer program. I tried all the links including the timer.exe the q_a_prelim and the COMDLG32.

What should I do to fix this? Should I download it from another site?
The Java applet, which is included in the instructions as an alternative, is a little less convenient, but it will serve you fine.
On most systems the timer.exe program will work, either before or after the fix. However when it won't work, it just won't. I had the same problem for a time, then it went away on its own. I suspect that one of the Windows automatic updates fixed the flaw in the system, but I have no idea which one or how.
