DIRECTOR
OF INSTITUTIONAL RESEARCH
The Director of Institutional Research is a member of the President’s Advisory Cabinet (PAC) and reports to the Vice President of Instruction and Student Services. Responsibilities include the following:
- Leads the College’s institutional research program by ensuring that faculty and administrators have the necessary data to inform curricular improvement and data-driven decision making. Includes development and administration of surveys and other research tools.
- Develops and implements processes monitor variables such as curricular changes, faculty workload, gainful employment, and student success rates.
- Maintains the Institutional Research website.
- Teaches classes as assigned, typically 6 credits each semester.
- Supports the college’s institutional and programmatic accreditation efforts by working with the SACSCOC liaison, Vice President of Instruction and Student Services, division deans, and faculty.
- Participates in college, community, professional and scholarly activities.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Instruction and Student Services.
