Mr. Smith:
i am very sorry that i cannot seem to catch up. I know it doesn't do me any good to be sorry to you though, but I'm just simply confused. I can't tell which videos I am supposed to watch with whatever thing i am doing. I cannot figure out what else I am supposed to do with my flow data. I know you aren't supposed to be back for a couple of days, but I am just stuck. I get frustrated when not being able to find what i think i am supposed to be looking for and then not being sure i have found the right thing. The material is just a little "spread out" i guess. I know i have what i need its just finding it and knowing what to do with it. I am not complaining, well you know what i am talking about. Thanks Mr. Smith and i hope to hear from you soon. In the meantime i will try to do what i can.
Thanks
Every link is an assignment. Just click, read, and work the problems. You need to do them in order, and simply work through the assignments as given. Read the class notes in order, and it will be clear what goes with what. Email a synopsis of your work on each assignment, and I'll let you know if there is more you need to do.
I've just had a group of Governor's School students working through this material. It is taking them an average of about 90 hours to do the first-semester course. They aren't using the class notes much, since they find that they can usually do the problems without bothering with the notes, and this is fine with me. The notes are there when you need them.
I'll have referenced the class notes corresponding to various assignments). Hopefully that will help alleviate some of your confusion.
