Common Items not supplied with Lab Kit

Here are some common household items you will need. If you don't have them you should get them so you have them handy when you need them:

1. Some thread the approximate thickness of typical sewing thread.

2. Some string sufficiently strong to support a full 3-liter soft drink bottle but not too thick (nylon string is ideal).

3. Scissors or utility knife.

4. Scotch tape or masking tape.

5. A 2- or 3-liter soft drink bottle.

6. A permanent market (e.g., a Sharpie) is desirable but might not be absolutely necessary. We recommend getting one if you don't have one because they tend to come in handy.
