Using the list of 16 experiments handed out in class, pick four and for each of the four write a proposal which includes the following information:

• A complete list of the equipment you will need to conduct the experiment.
• A detailed explanation of how you will use the equipment to do the experiment.
• A complete explanation what data you will be taking.

Submit this proposal using the Submit Work form at http://www.vhcc.edu/dsmith/submit_work.htm .  If your proposal includes formatted information, you may also send it as an email attachment, but in either case submit a text copy using the form.

Prioritize the four proposals you submit in your order of preference.  You will be assigned to conduct one of the experiments, with the assistance of one or two lab partners.  You will of course be a partner in a one or more experiments proposed by other students.

For the ball-down-ramp-to-floor situation, for 2 dominoes then for 4 dominoes:

• Use your observations of `ds_AB, `dt_AB, `dy_CD and `dx_CD to obtain independent results for the velocity of the ball at the end of the ramp.

Have your results ready to submit at the beginning of Friday's class.
